If you are looking something to do this weekend, there is one thing that is NOT to be missed, the Westfield Music Cube.

The pioneering experience at Westfield Stratford City is a live, immersive music experience that is revolutionising the way people listen to live music. Imagine a live silent disco - the acts perform in a sound proof box and the audience on the outside listen to it live through connected headphones - headphones that are provided by Sennhieser URBANITE.

The Music Cube is happening from 31 October – 2 November - Get involved, people!

I was lucky enough to have the chance to head down to the private launch party to experience the Music Cube for myself, so I invited my friend Brad to join me for the evening.

The audience used Sennheiser URBANITE headphones to enjoy the music - which was handy as I am currently in search of new over-ear headphones for my trip to Australia, so it was great to have the chance to try out a new style. The URBANITE’s are a great looking piece of equipment, super comfortably and incredibly flexible. Take a look at Brad and I’s photobooth photos below where we put it’s denim-wrapped flexi-frame to the test!

Winners of the Westfield Presents competition and the opening act for the night were an awesome band called Canvas Wall (find out more about them here!) who offer an awesome blend of stadium rock and indie pop that kept you hooked to every note - Close to the Edge was my personal favourite. Check it out here.

The evening’s headline was none other than Professor Green! I’ve been a fan of Pro Green’s for a while now, having really taken the time to get to know his music after mega hit ‘Read All About It’. After seeing him perform live, I hadn’t realise one, how many good songs he had and two, just how much I actually like him! Green was fun, fresh and lively throughout the set, sharing in numerous jokes and quips at himself.

Offering talent and fans the chance to interact with each other like never before, artists and bands will perform live in a bespoke sound proof glass cube, complete with LED surround, to music fans who will be plugged in to listen courtesy of state-of-the-art Sennheiser URBANITE headphones.
