There’s nothing wrong with a little extra cushion for the pushin’, so don’t let anyone else tell you otherwise. I was out shooting with my blogger BFF Skirmy from Mr. Salt and Pepper blog recently and decided to take my new Wrangler padded jacket out for a spin.
The popularity of padded jackets
I’d wanted to get a quilted/padded jacket for ages, but had struggled to find one thin enough. Guys with my build will always struggle with this type of jacket, it can easily make you look big and round out a broad frame. The rise of in popularity of quilted styles has been steady over the past few years. Starting as a smarter alternative to winter outerwear. The gilet styles under formal coats is a personal style favourite.
This one from Wrangler is the perfect fitness. It’s warm, comfortable and what I love most about these jackets is that they are easy to wear, casual and yet can still pull together a look and make it look smarter. These jackets work with jeans, or over suits.
