I love me a pair of boots, in any form. The second the first leaves fall in Autumn you’ll find me jumping into a pair. Recently, I got the chance to jump into a new pair of RM Williams boots, probably the best boot makers around.

In case you missed it, I recently had the chance to go behind the scenes of the new Star Wars film Rogue One  with Gillette at Pinewood Studios.

As part of the evening, I also got to interview renowned men’s artistic barber and grooming expert Carmelo Guastella and pick his brains about current manscape that is men’s grooming.

Football is a man’s game. It’s a saying many of us have heard a million times. The bravado of the footballing community has lead it to being one of the most stereotypical ‘masculine’ environments in sport today. It doesn’t leave much room for openness. At the top, there are no out Premier League footballers, with homophobia in football being rife. Those who have come out, have done so after retiring due to fear of backlash and career-destroying repercussions.

But new film WONDERKID by Rhys Chapman, aims to tackle the issue head on.

If you’ve picked up one the new Harvey Nichols menswear magazine, you may have come across a very special interview with Neil Barrett. It was a great honour to get to interview Barrett for the magazine, we met back in the summer in the new Harvey Nichols menswear department to discuss an exclusive archive capsule collection he had produced for the store in celebration of his eponymous label’s 15th birthday, as well as other stylish topics, including the evolution of menswear and the true meaning of style.

So, recently I had the awesome opportunity to head to Pinewood Studios where they filmed the latest Star Was movie, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, to get a sneak peek at the costumes in the movie, as well as the (at the time) unseen extended trailer. Plus, an exclusive new TV advert form Gillette.

If you hadn’t guessed from the numerous other posts about different barbers in London, I love getting my hair cut. There isn’t much else that gives you the confidence boost like a fresh cut. So next up on my tour of top men’s barbers is AONO, a new barber’s based in the recently re-opened menswear department of Harvey Nichols in Knightsbridge.
